AN OVERSIZED 19TH CENTURY SWISS MECHANICAL MUSIC BOX
AN OVERSIZED 19TH CENTURY SWISS MECHANICAL MUSIC BOX, the kingwood veneered case with Tunbridge style micro mosaics inlaid panels and ebonised mouldings enclosing a double spring barrelled movement with large flywheel with regulation dial running a pin barrel playing one of eight tunes on a steel comb. Comes with four interchangeable pin barrels in a matching cabinet.

The lock to the case is missing; otherwise, there are no other losses or damage. The mechanism is missing the screws that hold it to the case. It looks to have been restored in recent years, but it was separate from the case when we collected it. It is in good working condition with no missing teeth and plays well. The levers that connect the play and repeat functions are missing. Extra images and video have been uploaded. The cabinet that holds the extra music barrels is missing its hinges, and the sides have been stripped of their finish.
