Fronting a spring-driven eight-day movement with striking/silent/full striking lever beneath, striking on two gongs and separate alarm function, having jewelled balance wheel lever escapement, stamped Drocourt numbered 50406. The brass gorge case has a folding handle, bevelled glasses, and a moulded base, and it is a fitted leather carrying case.
