A FINE EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUSSIAN RAISED ENAMEL WORK ON SILVER EGG WITH GILT INTERIOR
finely decorated all over with raised coloured enamel floral and scrolling leafage sprays contained within gilt wirework edgings on a textured ground; the top with a winged headed front enclosing a ruby coloured cabochon; mounted on silver metal openwork tripod stand with claw feet, bearing hallmarks for Moscow and maker's mark for Fedor Rückert. Total weight is 444g
12.5cm high, 14cm high on stand.
