WILLIAM HARRIS, TUNBRIDGE. A MID 18TH CENTURY BURR ELM LONGCASE CLOCK with moulded pediment above a pierced frieze and hinged door flanked by turned columns on a slender trunk with D-moulded door and gilt-framed lenticle on a box base. The 12" square brass dial fitted gilt mask spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with ringed winding holes, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting an eight-day weight driven movement striking the hours on a bell
