LIONEL AND ALFRED CRICHTON, LONDON. AN EDWARDIAN SILVER INKSTAND of plain rectangular form, with twin scroll handles, the hinged lid engraved with the coat of arms of the Royal Exchange Assurance Company and motto Trade and Navigation, opening to reveal three compartments, two with silver-topped glass inkwells to the front and one long compartment to the back, raised on four bun feet, 1928. Total weight app. 3086 grams without glass.
