A LATE 17TH CENTURY WINGED BRASS LANTERN CLOCK WITH ALARM
with brass bell straps, over knopped urn finials and foliated engraved frets, with tapered pillars and winged doors over ball feet. The 6.25 inch engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals and fleur-de-lys half-hour markers surrounding the foliate engraved centre with alarm dial fronting a 30-hour weight driven movement with verge escapement and anchor-shaped pendulum between the plates, the alarm work mounted on the backplate 38.5cm high
