A RARE EARLY ARTS AND CRAFTS WALNUT BUREAU OF SMALL SIZE ATTRIBUTED TO ERNEST GIMSON FROM THE COTSWOLDS WORKSHOP the fall down front inlaid with holly chequered stringing opening to reveal drawers and pigeon holes highlighted with ebony moulding to the central cupboard: the block drawer fronts having chamfered panels with a central cupboard in burr walnut terminating on waterfall bracket feet, typical of Gimsons work of this period, exposed dovetail joints to the top and sides.
