A RARE LATE 17TH CENTURY PRIMITIVE 30-HOUR PINE LONGCASE CLOCK
the 8-inch brass dial with engraved winged trumpeting cherub spandrels, applied chapter ring with Roman numerals and inner minute markers enclosing a central alarm dial with engraved bird surrounding fronting a 30-hour iron posted weight driven movement with anchor escapement; with alarm mechanism and domed steel bell. The coffin style pine case with long trunk door, ironwork hinges and winged sides; raised on a plinth base.
