A GEORGE I EBONISED QUARTER REPEATING BRACKET CLOCK OF SMALL PROPORTIONS the case with inverted bell top above a glazed door with pierced sound frets enclosing a 6" arched brass dial with gilt masked spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with calendar and mock pendulum apertures and applied silvered name plaque. The arch fitted with a subsidiary Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day double fusee movement with verge escapement and foliate engraved backplate striking the hours on a bell and repeating the quarters on six bells.
