A STYLISH LATE REGENCY ROSEWOOD BRACKET CLOCK OF SMALL PROPORTIONS the case surmounted by a gadrooned pyramid-shaped pediment on a rectangular case with hinged glazed door applied gadrooned mouldings and carved acanthus leaf plinth raised on matching scrolled acanthus leaf bracket feet; the case sides with gilt brass silk-lined fish scale sound frets. The 5 1/4" arched silvered engraved dial with Roman chapter ring below a subsidiary Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day double fusee movement with five knopped pillars and anchor escapement, signed border-engraved backplate and hour strike on a bell.
