A FINE EARLY 19TH CENTURY TWO-DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER the three-tier mahogany brass-bound case containing a gimballed brass bowl housing an 11.5cm silvered engraved dial with Roman chapter ring surrounding a subsidiary dial for power reserve fronting a finely made chain-driven fusee movement with Harrison maintaining power, Earnshaw-type spring detent, cut bimetallic compensated balance wheel, helical blued steel spring and jewelled end stop - with original tipsy winding key.
