A GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK WITH MOONPHASE the hood with swan neck pediment and painted gilt floral panels above a glazed door with turned columns; the trunk with reeded quarter columns and shaped quarter veneered door; the canted base on ogee bracket feet; the 13" arched brass dial with gilt winged cherub head spandrels and silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with revolving moonphase, fronting an eight-day weight-driven movement with finned knopped pillars striking and repeating the hours on a bell.
