A MID 18TH CENTURY SHIELD SHAPED LACQUERED CHINOISERIE DECORATED TAVERN CLOCK the 31" dial with ogee mouldings enclosing a gilt chapter ring with Roman numerals and 5-minute outer markers fronting an eight-day weight-driven movement with knopped pillars and anchor escapement. The case with arched topped trunk door and chisel base.
