A LARGE LATE 19TH CENTURY EXHIBITION QUALITY CONICAL MYSTERY CLOCK GARNITURE the clock surmounted by a silvered and gilt bronze figure of a classical maiden holding a gilt brass and steel rotating pendulum with blue enamel sphere and applied gilt stars standing on a 'bleu turquin' marble case with ormolu prancing lions united by ormolu scrolls on a plinth base. The 5.5" dial having a gilt chapter ring with applied Roman numerals surrounding a skeletonized centre, the inner bezel inscribed 'Societe des Marbres Onyx d'Algerie, 24 Bd des Italiens, Paris' fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement striking the hours/half hours on a bell - together with a matching pair of six branch candelabra of baluster form with griffin terminals to the handles
