RICHARD AMES, LONDON A RARE 17TH CENTURY QUARTER CHIMING LANTERN CLOCK with brass posted case having turned finials, pierced foliate frets and a domed bell, enclosing a brass dial with later chapter ring and Roman numerals and a foliate engraved centre, fronting a three train weight driven movement with later anchor escapement chiming the quarters on two bells and the hours on a large bell.
