AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY LONGCASE CLOCK MOVEMENT with a 12" square brass dial having a matted centre, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds below XII and a date aperture above VI, cast gilt spandrels to the angles, fronting an eight day weight driven movement with five finned knopped pillars and anchor escapement striking on a bell.
