The glazed arched case with carved pediment, twisted and fluted corner pillars and panelled backboard enclosing an 11 1/2" silvered dial with regulator format signed to the centre 'DENT, LONDON, MAKER TO HER MAJESTY & HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES, ' fronting a signed eight day weight driven movement with Damascas finished plates, Dent style tapered pillars and delicate five spoke wheel train with high count pinions and Harrison maintaining power, outside escape wheel and deadbeat escapement with jewelled pallets, bronzed weight, pully and and oval bob on steel rod.
