A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GIANT REPEATING GORGE CASED CARRIAGE CLOCK, probably by Drocourt. The glazed moulded case enclosing a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, fronting a spring driven eight day movement with original compensated lever escapement striking and repeating on a gong, backplate numbered "1714".
