A GEORGE III MAHOGANY THREE TRAIN VERGE QUARTER STRIKING BRACKET CLOCK the 7.5" painted arched dial with Roman numerals and outer five-minute markers below two subsidiary dials to the arch for Strike/Silent and rise and fall regulation. Fronting a substantial eight-day triple fusee movement with an engraved backplate with a rise and fall pendulum on a verge escapement, striking the quarters on eight graduated bells and the hours on a single bell. The case has carved corners and a bell top fitted with finials and rococo-style side frets raised on brass bracket feet.
