A RARE MID 18TH CENTURY GRAND SONNERIE LONGCASE CLOCK MOVEMENT IN LATER CASE, the 13 1/2" square brass dial with gilt spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting an eight day three train weight driven movement with five finned knopped pillars, chiming the quarters and hours on six small bells and a larger bell.
