A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH OVAL PORCELAIN PANELLED REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK, the moulded gilt brass case enclosing Sevres style porcelain panels painted with classical romantic scenes, the matching dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm dial fronting a spring-driven eight-day movement with original compensated lever escapement striking/repeating on a gong.
