A PAIR OF 18TH CENTURY FRENCH CARVED GILT GESSO ARMCHAIRS UPHOLSTERED IN AUBUSSON TAPESTRIES with carved gilt gesso frames, square backs and padded arms, upholstered in Aubusson tapestry panels depicting floral baskets and scrollwork, raised on fluted tapering legs, branded STC - Chateau de Saint Cloud and MA - Marie Antoinette, and later stamped AT.
