A 17TH CENTURY BRASS LANTERN CLOCK WITH BALANCE WHEEL ESCAPEMENT, the silvered Roman chapter ring with half-hour markers and inner quarter-hour markers enclosing a tulip engraved centre and alarm setting disc with engraved starburst, the weight-driven movement with balance wheel verge escapement. The case with a strapped bell and five urn finials between three engraved pierced frets, the front fret signed below, over four turned columns, with side doors, on ball feet, - comes with six weights and later oak bracket.
