A LATE 19TH CENTURY BLACK FOREST PAINTED AUTOMATION WALL CLOCK depicting a spaniel with moving eyes lying on a grassy bank beside a barrel within a landscape setting, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals and twin winding apertures set into the lower section, within a moulded gilt slip and ebonised frame, the reverse enclosing a brass eight-day spring-driven movement, stirking on a gong.
