The 11" square brass dial with gilt cherub head spandrels and silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting an eight-day weight-driven movement with five knopped finned pillars anchor escapement and outside countwheel striking on a bell.
