A RARE LATE 19TH CENTURY ORMOLU AND PATINATED BRONZE MYSTERY CLOCK with gilt bezel enclosing a circular glass Roman dial signed "ROBERT-HOUDIN PARIS" and fitted with a single arrow hand above a vase-shaped patinated bronze stand with applied ormolu putti and scrollwork on a scrolled base, the spring-driven eight-day movement with silk suspension striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, standing on a gilt moulded plinth.
