A MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU MOUNTED EBONISED AND INLAID MANTEL CLOCK, the portico style case finely inlaid with brass, pewter, and ivory depicting hunting scenes with dogs, stags and hares, the top side of the plinth inlaid with a leopard. The white enamel dial framed by a gilt rococo style bezel with dragons and maidens fronting a signed eight day spring driven movement with outside countwheel striking the hours/half hours on a bell. The clock displayed under a glass dome.
