A LATE 18TH CENTURY EBONISED BELL TOP EIGHT-DAY BRACKET CLOCK The 7" brass-arched dial with rococo spandrels and silvered Roamn chapter ring has a matted centre with a name cartouche and date aperture below a strike silent dial to the arch. Fronting an eight-day fusee movement with an engraved backplate and anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell, the case has a folding handle and fish scale sound frets to the sides.
