A 17TH CENTURY WINGED LANTERN CLOCK, having a large steel bell and pierced engraved dolphin spandrels above a silvered Roman chapter ring surrounded by a tulip engraved centre inscribed "John Ebsworth at y crosskeys, Lothbury, Londini fecit" above a silvered engraved alarm disc fronting a weight driven movement with countwheel strike, rear mounted alarm mechanism and verge escapement, the anchor shaped bob swinging between the plates into the side apertures.
