A WILLIAM AND MARY HERRINGBONE INLAID FIGURED WALNUT BUREAU OF SMALL SIZE with angled hinged fall revealing a fitted interior of pigeon holes, small drawers and a well, the lower section with three short over two long graduated drawers fitted with brass loop droppers and shaped escutcheons, raised on bun feet.

The bureau is in very good, undamaged condition and appears to have been restored in recent years. There is a small piece of herringbone missing from the top. The handles and locks are all original. The oak draw linings have side runnings. The bun feet are possibly replacements. The bureau has a good light colour and patina.
