AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY OAK CASED 30-HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK, the unusual slender case having an architectural pediment above a glazed aperture with bobbin pillars, the trunk with moulded door on box base. The 10" square brass dial has masked spandrels and a silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre fronting a weight-driven brass-plated movement with turned ringed steel pillars and anchor escapement striking on a bell.
