WILLIAM SNOW, PADSIDE, NUMBER 533. A GEORGE III OAK 30HR LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" arched brass dial with rococo spandrels and Roman chapter ring enclosing an engraved centre with date aperture below a signed cartouche to the arch and fronting a 30hr weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell. The break arch hood with blind fret frieze and arched trunk door having quarter columns and a canted base.

The trunk door is slightly warped, hairline cracks to the base and the base is also a later replacement, the bottom half of the back board is missing. The case has been cleaned and repoished. The movement is original to the case, the movement is complete but is dirty. Complete with weight and pendulum.
