A GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED TRIPLE FUSEE QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK ebonised caddy top case with gilt brass ball finial, pierced gilt brass frets and ormolu mounts with side ring handles, on cast feet; enclosing an 8" arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, matted centre and concentric calendar with strike/silent in the arch; fronting a substantial eight day movement with signed engraved backplate and anchor escapement chiming the quarters on eight bells and the hours on a single bell.

The case, movement and dial are all original to each other. The case has its original ebonised finish; there are some small repairs to the top of the front door, and the top finial isn't original. The movement is ticking and is complete, but the strike doesn't stop, so it will require some attention. Comes with a winding key but no door key.
