A 1970's ENGLISH GILT BRASS CHRONOMETER CARRIAGE TIMEPIECE the stylish angular case with brushed gilt finish and bevelled glass panels enclosing a silvered engraved dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and power reserve fronting an eight-day chain driven fusee movement with Harrison maintaining power and Earnshaw type detent escapement with heavy bimetallic weighted balance wheel.
