AN EAST AND CENTRAL AFRICA MEDAL 1898 silver with 'Uganda 1897-98' clasp and '1898' clasp. Awarded to '1752 PTE FAZL AHMAD . 27/BOM:INF:. It was awarded for minor military operations in the Uganda Protectorate and Southern Sudan between 1897-1899. The medal was issued in silver. The obverse featuring Queen Victoria with "Victoria Regina Et Imperatrix". The reverse depicts Britannia standing holding a trident and a palm branch, with a lion behind her. Weight 45g.
