A FINE PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI BRONZE FIGURAL SCULPTURES BY MIYAO each modelled as a standing figure in traditional dress with gilt highlighted decoration, one holding a staff and shading his eyes, the other holding a bird and fan, the robes decorated with stylised floral motifs, each raised on a rectangular wooden plinth with gilt lacquer decoration. One bearing an inlaid signature to the robe.
