A RARE PAIR OF LATE 17TH / EARLY 18TH CENTURY OVAL REPROUSSE AND CHASED GILT BRASS GIRANDOLES having scalloped shell-shaped cresting over a pair  of  soldiers flanking a panel centre depicting a woman seated on a recumbent camel, and standing figure of a Queen holding a chalice and palace beyond, respectively, each with double arm scones 75cm high overall 46cm wide Provenance The Felix Dennis Collection, Reference The Dictionary of English Furniture by R Edwards 1953 under wall sconces.
