A VERY UNUSUAL AND RARE 19TH CENTURY ORCHESTRAL AUTOMATION CYLINDER MUSIC BOX

A VERY UNUSUAL AND RARE 19TH CENTURY ORCHESTRAL AUTOMATION CYLINDER MUSIC BOX, probably by Karrer, Geneva. The fully restored music box has a large walnut inlaid case with a hinged lid, the underside with 10 breaths of air song sheet, the silvered pin barrel played on a steel comb, bells and drum with lever wound spring driven movement, the automation monkey dressed as a jockey having moving mouth and eyes.
