A GEORGE II EBONY VENEERED BRACKET CLOCK WITH MOONPHASE the case with an inverted bell top pediment above a glazed hinged door flanked by ormolu mounted caryatid corners matching on the back. The 7" brass arched dial with gilt masked spandrels and silvered signed chapter ring surrounding a matted and engraved centre with mock pendulum and calendar aperture, the arch with moonphase aperture and age of moon chapter ring fronting an eight-day fusee movement with five finned pillars, verge escapement and pull quarter repeat on two bells
