TAFFINDER, ROTHERHAM. A RARE MID 19TH CENTURY THREE-MONTH DURATION REGULATOR LONGCASE CLOCK made for the great exhibition of 1851. The figured mahogany case with arched top and long glazed moulded door enclosing a 12" silvered circular observatory dial with engraved outer minutes surrounding seconds and hour dials fronting a large A-framed weight driven movement with massive going barrel and deadbeat escapement with adjustable pallets, original silvered ovoid cylidrical pendulum and large matching weight.
