A LATE 19TH CENTURY PARKES AND HADLEY'S PATENT ORRERY, the 10" cast iron calendar plate with raised copper-plated calibration and geared mechanism rotating a 3" George Phillip & Son globe with moon orbit, the circular stand with George Phillip name plaque. The centre of the plate has an oil-burning lamp, lacking a shade.
