DROCOURT (CIRCA 1860) A FINE AND RARE MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS AND SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN PANELLED ROCOCO REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK

with finely cast shaped case mounted with cherubs, flowerhead and leaf work decoration set with royal blue porcelain panels depicting ladies with cherubs in garden settings, highlighted with gilt decoration. The dial with Roman numerals above an alarm dial, fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with jewelled balance wheel escapement striking the hours and half hours on a gong numbered 12730 and stamped Drocourt 24cm high to the top of the handle - Comes with its original numbered key.
