AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY BURR WALNUT EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" arched brass dial with mask head spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and outer minute markers enclosing a matted centre with seconds dial, name plaque and date aperture, the engraved arch with a rolling moon fronting an eight-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell. The case with pagoda-top pediment to the hood, long arched-top trunk door and plinth base.
