EARDLEY NORTON, LONDON No 1521, A LATE 18TH CENTURY 12” MUSICAL BRASS DIAL LONGCASE CLOCK MOVEMENT (FOR RESTORATION)
fitted pagoda-shaped rococo spandrels enclosing a narrow chapter ring with Roman numerals and five-minute markers, matted dial centre with date aperture and seconds dial above an arched top with panelled name plaque and two subsidiary dials, one for chime/not chime the other with 6 tune selection - the movement in parts having six pillars and playing on eight bells (music barrel missing)
31cm wide, 42.5cm high.
