A MID 18TH CENTURY SCARLET LACQUER CHINOISERIE QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK the scarlet chinoiserie bell top case with brass handle, corner finials and pierced sound frets enclosing a 7" brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals, day and date apertures and moonphase to the arch within foliate spandrels; fronting an eight day triple fusee movement with seven knopped pillars and foliate engraved backplate with verge escapement, chiming the quarters on six bells and the hours on a larger bell.
