A GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED MAHOGANY VERGE BRACKET CLOCK WITH ALARM the bell-top mahogany case with ormolu finials and figure mount, applied ormolu mounts to the angles, pierced side sound frets and brass bracket feet; enclosing a 7" arched brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, matted centre with alarm disc, calendar aperture above VI and strike-silent subsidiary dial to the arch, signed John Taylor, London; fronting an 8-day double fusee movement with verge escapement and pull alarm, striking the hours on a bell.
