AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY EIGHT DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER, the brass gimbaled drum-shaped case enclosing a 4 3/4" silvered engraved dial with subsidiary seconds and power reserve. The eight-day chain-driven fusee movement with Harrison maintaining and Earnshaw-type detent escapement, all fitted in a three-tier mahogany case with tipsy winding key and outer box.
