A FINE 19TH CENTURY FLOOR STANDING MAHOGANY REGULATOR CLOCK, the figured mahogany glazed case enclosing a 13" silvered engraved dial with concentric minutes and subsidiaries for seconds and hours, also power reserve dial and self-correcting perpetual calendar fronting a substantial month duration weight driven movement with six large turned pillars, jewelled pallets to the deadbeat escapement, adjustable endstops and Harrison maintaining power, the compensated pendulum with mercury filled glass jar. The regulator originally came from Major and Mrs Ambler from the Branton Court estate.
