A GEORGE II EIGHT-DAY SPHERICAL MOON LONGCASE MOVEMENT the 12" brass dial having four season spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre with calendar aperture, the arch with rotating spherical moonphase fronting an Ogden style eight-day weight driven movement with knopped finned pillars and complicated gearwork striking the hours on a bell.
