A MID 17TH CENTURY BRASS LANTERN CLOCK WITH ALARM DIAL strapped bell and five finials over three pierced dolphin frets, signed 'Thomas Knifton in Lothbury, Londini' over a silvered Roman chapter ring with stylised fleur-de-lys half hour markers and an inner quarter hour track, the tulip engraved centre set with a silvered Arabic alarm dial, the weight driven movement with a balance wheel verge escapement striking on a bell.
